Neeraj Singh is a PhD scholar in the Laboratory of Bio-Physio Sensors & Nanobioengineering at the School of Biochemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He holds an M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, with a CGPA of 9.2, and a B.Sc. in Biology with 93.4%. His academic and research experience includes molecular biology, environmental epigenetics, microalgal biotechnology, and nanotechnology. He has received DST-SERB-sponsored training in molecular biology at IISER Pune and environmental epigenetics at ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal. He has also worked as a Junior Research Assistant on a UPCST-sponsored project focused on microalgal remediation of food-industry wastewater, biodiesel production, and carbon-dot synthesis. He is a recipient of the DHR-BRET ICMR Junior Research Fellowship. His current research interests include nanobioengineering, electrochemical biosensors, sensors for healthcare applications, and antimicrobial resistance.
